About Me and My Writing
Like most writers I love to write, but not necessarily about me. I will endeavor to entertain you and inform you so this will not be a complete waste of time. My name is Carol when I am writing a book, magazine article, or blog. It is Auntie Carol when I am creating something for little people ages 2 to 13. And finally, Teacher Carol when I am teaching English online or in my office.
At 85, I have had many jobs, several businesses, and I have taught for over 65 years. I have been a writer most of my life and each job I experience things I want to write about. On this website I would like to share my unfiltered mouth, my writings as of this date, and I would need another website to share my life so I will just stick to my present portfolio.
I create coloring books for children focusing on different age groups and various skills for the targeted audience. With my method and style of teaching I can teach a 2-year-old how to read; a 9-year-old the skill of investigation; and finally, a 12-year-old how to focus and prepare for assignments.
My series of young adult offerings include a series of books that tell inspirational stories of athletes that defy obstacle to achieve their goals.
I diversify with my writing and I have created a series of Gothic Romance novels that involves the same core 4 characters as they traverse through a human existence and vampires that possess a special gift. (Sorry no spoiler alert, buy the books and read for yourself.)
My latest book, which is available in Arabic as well as English is about my first trip to Saudi Arabia at the age of 82.
When I am not writing I conduct classes focusing on helping other writers.
Presently juggling 3 romance novels that will be available soon.
Also in the hopper are several activity books.
Did I mention I get bored easily? I hate wasted moments in life.
Thanks for reading and please no applause. When you are 85 you can indulge yourself too.
